I recently went to see the new James Bond movie (which I enjoyed quite a bit), but when I was watching it I noticed that all the cars were Fords (Aston Martin, Land Rover, Jaguar, and even a stray Ford thrown in for good measure), what I also noticed is that none of these cars were what you'd see James Bond driving (the Aston Martin was left-hand drive and who would have thought that James would drive a Ford Focus?), none of these cars were what you'd see on the street either, the two Fords I saw were either hybrid or hydrogen (I did see a hydrogen BMW in DC one day, but it was a demo car, well I've also seen an Aston Martin in DC, and Land Rover's and Jaguar's seem to be the yuppie's dream car).
From what I now know, it seems that both good guys and bad guys drive a Ford. It makes me happy that I don't drive a Ford, since it's sometimes hard to tell the good guys from the bad guys. I'm sure there were other product placements in the film, but I tend to notice cars more than watches, drinks, clothes, perfumes, etc... They didn't have any really cool tech gadgets, well a touch screen wall that was cool, I know Microsoft and Apple are working on computers like that.

haha... I drive a Ford. I've always technically driven a Ford (Mercury Tracer), but now I actually drive a Ford. Nothing really spiffy but it does the trick.
I'm one of the good guys, but when I drive, the line blurs a little bit. Is that a side effect of driving a Ford, or just a part of my personality? Hmmm.
Maybe you could be the new Bond girl ;). FYI your new car is much more Bondish than the station wagon, maybe you should call it something Bondish, such as "Q" :).
If I were to be the next Bond girl, I wouldn't want a Ford. I'd want a BMW, or something on that level. Big engine, fast acceleration, fun, easy to get in trouble with. Like that.
I think I'll end up calling my car Barry. Though I usually don't call things by the names I give them. I start out with good intentions, but then it just becomes "my car."
Can you go from a Ford to a BMW? You might want to consider getting a VW first and work your way up :).
Barry's a good name for a car, I call mine Charlie (it's a chick ;)).
In a Bond world, anything is possible...?
Actually, I'd probably go for an Audi first. And that's if I had the option of being able to afford an imported car. I got to visit the Audi museum in Ingolstadt while I was over in Germany. It was pretty cool.
Audi's a good car, you'll get one some day :). Though you did pick a career where you don't get paid.... Well marry well ;).
It is my intention to become independently wealthy. I'm not sure how I'll achieve that yet because it'll require something outside of my career, but I'll figure it out. Eventually.
